Liposome Herbasec® is an easy way to add standardized encapsulated botanical extracts into a formulation. The liposomes in the freeze-dried dispersion of Liposome Herbasec® are reformed when dispersed in water, re-encapsulating the concentrated plant extract.

Liposome carriers are effective penetration enhancers

Liposomes serve as carriers to the skin, increasing the bioavailability of the plant extracts. Unsaturated phospholipids used as the liposomal carrier are known natural penetration enhancers which avoid the use of solvents.
